Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival at Bali Airport.

Day 2 – Tulamben.
The day is spent diving locally. There are four dives today, each with a totally different feel about it.
Morning dive on the wreck of the American ship Liberty that was sunk by the Japanese during WWII. The ship is now home to a whole range of marine wildlife. There is a chance of seeing whale sharks, ocean sunfish and other big fish species. The wreck is an easy wreck to dive and has been certified safe for all levels of divers.
The wreck dive is followed by two dives on the reefs found in Tulamben Bay. Here the coral reefs are home to a wide range of species. These day dives will be at two separate reefs. The Coral Garden is a reef made up of colourful coral species and offers some excellent opportunities to see and photograph many of the endemic species of the island of Bali. The next reef is the Batu Kelebit which is a deeper water reef. There is a short boat ride out to the Batu Kelebit from the beach at Tulamben.
We will also undertake a night dive on our first dive day. This dive will be on the Drop Off. This reef offers a short wall and a wide variety of marine wildlife.
Day 3 – Candi Dasa.
We have two morning dives at Tulamben Bay. One will be a return visit to the Drop Off to allow you to see the reef in it’s daytime glory. The second dive will be decided between the group and the diver guide on the previous evening.
After a beach-side lunch we transfer to the next location on our dive tour of Bali – Candi Dasa. We will be calling in on some local sites on route to our resort at Candi Dasa. On arrival at the hotel the remainder of the evening is free.

Coral fish
Day 4 – Candi Dasa.
We have two dives today over reefs at Ahmed. It is a 1 hour transfer each way between our hotel and dive site so a fairly early start is required. It is well worth getting up early as the Balinese sunrises are legendary and make for stunning photographs. Ahmed offers a number of reefs in the sheltered Jemeluk Bay.
We will be offering a dive on one of the shallow reefs and the second dive will be on one of the deeper water reefs. Marine wildlife that you will come across is wide. There will be many species of coral and sponges. Fish species include whitetip and blacktip sharks. Here you may also come across turtles, parrotfish and stingrays.
Stay close to our diver guides and they will point out the most important species of the reefs.
Day 5 – Candi Dasa.
From our base in Candi Dasa we undertake a short drive to the dive sites at Pandang Bai. We undertake two day dives. The reefs of Pandang Bai offers a wide range of life. There is the possibility of seeing baby sharks and cuttle fish. Octopus live in the bay and you may also get the chance to see turtles in the reef. Crocodile fish and blue spotted stingrays also frequent the area.
In addition to the two day dives we will also be undertaking an evening dive at the reef known as the Blue Lagoon. this is a shallow water sheltered reef. It’s one of the most popular dive sites at Pandang Bay because of it’s good visibility and wide range of marine wildlife that can be seen here.
Day 6 – Candi Dasa.
Today will be a split day depending on the abilities of divers. For divers who have a minimum of 50 logged dives and strong current experience there will be a day exploring the three islands of Gili Tepekong, Gili Mimpang and Gili Biaha. These islands have a range of excellent diving reefs but are more challenging dives. There is frequent unpredictable currents that divers need to be able to handle. If you wish to undertake these dives please ensure you bring your dive log books for inspection.
For divers without the requisite experience in their official log books the day will be spent back at Pandang Bai. The 3 day dives will start with a return to the Blue Lagoon to experience the reef during full daylight. The remaining two dives will take place at reefs in Pura Jepun.

Manta Ray
Day 7 – Nusa Penida.
Nusa Penida is one of the best diving locations in Bali. With over 10 different reef dive sites your diver guide will choose the best locations for todays dive based on weather and local conditions. One of the dives today will be on Manta Point (weather dependant -strong winds can make the sea too rough for safe operation of the dive boat).
Toyapakeh dive site will also be high on the list of sites that the guide will aim to get you to. Not so weather dependant as Manta Point, Toyapakeh offers stunning displays of coral structures. Here you may come into contact with tuna, jacks and lobster. On occasions giant eagle rays have been seen swimming in this dive location.
On completion of our 3 day dives we transfer to our hotel base at Seminyak.
Day 8 – Ubud.
Today is your 24 hour dive free day to prepare you for your flight home. We spend the day with our guide experiencing Bali’s cultural centre at Ubud. What was once a backpackers paradise is now a five star cultural, arts and music centre that attractions backpackers and the famous alike. Despite all the development and commercialisation Ubud still retains a lot of it’s charm and mystical atmosphere.
After a day exploring we return to our hotel at Seminyak.
Day 9 – transfer to Bali Airport.
Our driver will transfer you back to Bali Airport – about 30 minutes transfer time. We will ensure that the driver drops you off at the airport in time for your check-in for flights that depart from 09.15 for those who are staying on in Bali our driver will drop you at any hotels in the city of Denpasar.
