Lost Land of the Tiger tour

lost land of the tiger tour 2012
Sold Out.
It’s taken a few months to organise but I’ve finally got everything in place for the tour that aims to ‘follow in the footsteps’ of the TV series Lost Land of the Tiger. This 15 day tour will take in some of the best tiger habitat in Bhutan – and there’s only one way to see it and that’s from the river.
We’ll be rafting down the Drangme Chhu River which will give us access to parts of the rainforests that can not be accessed any other way. Each stop along the river will give us enough time to either go on a nature walk, just relax from the days rafting or give you the opportunity to do some fishing. This is a strenuous holiday and we will be days away from a hosptial or medical centre. Please ensure that you are physically fit enough to undertake this type of tour.
Tour dates: November 1st 2012.
Tour price: £3250.00 per person based on 2 sharing fully inclusive (excludes international airfares).
Maximum party size: 16.
code: b = breakfast, l = lunch, d = dinner.

Our driver will meet you at Paro Airport to take you to your hotel to help you recover from the adrelanin packed landing as you come into one of the world scariest landing strips. A dramatic turn as the aircraft twists it way through the Himalyas will give a an interesting first view of the Kingdom of Bhutan. There’s a reason why only specially trained pilots are allowed to land here.

Air India andJet Airways operates flights between Heathrow and Guwahati Airport. This is the ideral return flight to arrange. Druk Air operates a service to Paro from Guwahati airport every Monday and Thursday. Out tour is arranged around the Thursday flight. You will obviously only need a one way ticket as you are coming back via the river.
