In Westminster this week

westminsterThe House of Lords are still on their Easter break until next weeks but the House of Commons is sitting again.

Probably the  most important meeting this week in Westminster for the environment is on Wednesday when the Environment Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee questions Richard Benyon MP about the Natural Environment White Paper.

The railways also feature several times in Parliamentary business for the coming week.

Wednesday 18th April.

16.00 – 16.30. @ Westminster Hall. High Speed 2 in Scotland – Lindsay Roy.

14.15 @ The Thatcher Room, Portcullis House. Environmental Audit Select Committee. Subject: Wildlife crime.

14.15 @ Committee Room 16, Palace of Westminster. Environment Food and rural Affairs Select Committee. Subject: Natural Environment White Paper.

15.15 @ Committee Room 15, Palace of Westminster. Public Accounts Select Committee. Subject: Sale of High Speed 1.
