If you wish to purchase adversing just select the package that you want to advertise on and follow the instructions. Currently there is a small glitch in the software regarding Internet Explorer and validating jpg images. You can either choose to upload a gif image instead or contact us directly so we can upload the image for you.
All advertising is checked before publishing for the usual standards of taste and decency etc.
Advertisements are displayed randomly within each slot and you are charged on a per impression basis. When you place an advert with us you will have access to a statistics page which will show your ongoing impressions and clicks.
Advertising slots:
Header: This is our most high profile and high impact ad. It sits at the top of the page and is 1000 pixels by 220 pixels in size.
Middle 336: This is the 336 by 300 pixel banner that is displayed about half way down our sidebar.
Sidebar small 1: This is the pair of adverts that are displayed in the sidebar about half way down. They are half the width of the side bar. The banner size is 160 by 250 pixels.
Sidebar top: This is the first ad in the sidebar column. The ad slot for this high profile ad is 336 pixels by 300 pixels.
News Content: This is a 468 by 60 pixel banner ad that appears at the top of the news stories and blogs that we publish.
Reserves Ad: This is the 468 by 60 pixel banner ad that is found at the top of the posts in our nature reserves section.
Small rectangle: this 160 pixel wide by 125 pixel deep banner sites within a group of 4. It is our cheapest display advertising opportunity.
