Tour Guide Bulgaria

Bulgaria tour guideDiscover the hidden gems of Bulgaria with a personal guide service. Your English or Spanish speaking guide can take you out for a day during your holiday to Bulgaria to experience something really quite special.

You could spend a day exploring the vast pillars of the Stone Forest or spend time trekking in national parks and forests experiencing the diverse wildlife and nature of this special country.

As an example of a tour that you can take with your personal travel guide you can take a boat ride through one of the last remaining original swamp forests of Europe. Take in the sights and sounds of this magical place.

Explore the River Kamchiya in Bulgaria.

30 km, South of Varna is the magical wildlife and nature park of the River Kamchiya. The Longoza Nature Reserve is spread over a flooded landscape  of 842 hectares along the banks of the Kamchia River on its way to it’s exit into the Black Sea

It is not a usual European forest – the creepers reaching up to 50 metres in length will hung down making a true forest experience. Huge trees line the river banks that have seen a 100 years or more during their long life.

As we travel along the park on board our small boat it will be easy to think that we are in some exotic rainforest. But this is a European swamp forest (longoz) and it has its own rare and endangered tree and plant species such as the swamp snowdrop.

As we travel up the river you should have your binoculars and cameras ready to take a closer look at the wealth of bird species in that make the forest their home. Birds such as pelicans and kingfishers will be seen on our journey into the green jewel of Bulgaria.
