  1. You could sow a mix and mow once a year? I’m not sure why clover would have to be mowed several times a year.

    The most straight forward way to have a meadow is to just… leave it alone. Cut once a year, maybe allow some grazing.     but really, I just recommend low maintenance traditional farming. Low livestock numbers, cut in autumn. That would probably be the most beneficial to local wildlife.
