Tackling climate change at Wicken Fen – showing the love for our special places

Wicken Fen is one of the oldest nature reserves in Britain, providing a vital place to live for wetland birds, reptiles and lots of other creatures. The Peat soil also helps to lock up carbon, which might otherwise contribute to climate change. In this video, find out what our ranger Ajay Tegala loves about this landscape and how he looks after it – with help from some four-footed friends – for generations to come.

The National Trust cares for nature, beauty, history, for everyone, forever.
